Not for the shareholders or managers etc. etc. I feel sad for the fans. Once a great club and look what they've done to it now. The fans pay their money to go and watch their team, it must be gutting.

TBH, I would feel sad for any teams fans, seeing this happen to their club, whether it be our liverpool or man uted, everton or even you lower league local side.
It's what money does to the game.
Sad !!!

Leeds have been in the doldrums financially & football wise for years, this is nothing new. It's only £150k, surely Leeds have that much in the coffers. I know a WUP can be hard to get out of but if they've got the money they can come to an agreement or seek legal advice. If this was issued due to debts unpaid by the previous owner then the new owner would be within his rights to claim it is an unjust petition and try to come to his own arrangements with the creditor.

Or the courts could argue that the new owner didn't undertake sufficient due dilligence, but what the F' has that got to do with the fans?

It's the fans I feel sorry for regardless of who they support. The directors etc will move on to other jobs but what do the fans do? You can't just pick another club to support.

Leeds problems could be about to get worse as the owner could we'll be disqualified from working in England in the near future over a fraud conviction in Italy.
Elland Road is also in need of redevelopment but that isn't going to happen any time soon.
The best thing that could happen to them now would probably be go bust and have to start as a new club in the non league.
The fans would get their club back and they would quickly move up the leagues like AFC Wimbledon did.

I blame Ridsdale.

Obviously Ridsdale was a major contributor but no individual is to blame for the whole mess.

He sanctioned the purchase of Robbie Fowler for £12m when we were offering him round for £8m.
He gambled everything on getting into the CL and when that didn't happen it all went pear shaped from there.

Regardless of who the club is, this is a shame. Shouldn't be happening!

restart the club under a different name!

150k is peanuts in relation to such a big club. Surely the existing owner can find the money?

Hell no.
I get huge satisfaction from seeing this disgusting little club sink lower & lower.
Non league status - PLEASE.
