slight defence of wenger

Yes I agree with most of the current criticisms especially letting Jenkinson go if he doesn't rate bellerin. But it's always injuries that muck up our season time and time again. If you include Walcott we are 5 players out. No other team has that on a consistent basis season after season. I do wish we had got lescott on a free he would have provided great cover.

Like I said in title it was a slight defence only! I really just want to see our strongest team out playing for 20 games on the trott.

I hear you man. But what are the chances of that happening with out any injuries or suspension etc. Its a long season, so you need rotation and adequate planning. When was the last time the same team played 20 games in a row with out injuries?

But this is when the great/ decent managers stands up and earns their money. When things are not going well, and half the team are injured, this is the time to make the best of what you have and still get results. Fergie did it.. Now mr Wenger is your turn. Stand up and earn your 8 mil

We are goal up, Chambers getting ripped apart at RB, Monreal being out gunned in centre..Its alright I don't want make any change we are goal up we have best DM in Flamani, and in the last match we didn't concede against Team full of Ronaldos and Messis. Why waste my 3 subs I will save it for the next match.

Very true.

Wenger has to take the blame. He should never have gone into the season with only 2 recognised CBs. Chambers is more a RB atm and we aleways get injuries so Debauchy being out shouldn't be a big surprise. There was always going to be at least one big injury or maybe more and that's just defence. Then there are bans which are likely to happen at some point. He just doesn't act in a realistic way.

Wenger gave the impression that Hayden was ready to start the step up but was not even on the bench leaving only Bellerin as defensive cover. So why not bring in another player? Did he really leave it to the end of the transfer window and miss out as he claimed. Incompetence is the word that comes to mind.

Hayden is injured. Has been for a good few weeks.

He knew KOS was injured in the summer so why did he gamble by not getting cover for him. Just so that he could use the injury thing as an excuse. Well it doesn't wash any more.

Wenger was a mug for getting rid of Jenkinson on loan. Hes playing very well at WeSt Ham just like I knew he would when given a run of games.

A.defence of the following would have been much more solid than the shambles we currently have

Jenkinson - Chambers - Per - Gibbs

The point being Wenger wanted him to get a run of games to find PL form, something he couldn't guarantee him at Arsenal.

He wasn't a mug for letting CJ go on loan, he is a mug for not reinforcing the CB position. Your back 4 is far from quality.

He’s lost it. Totally lost it. Would not know ‘tactics’ if it came in and invaded one of his private dinner parties. Ditto strategy, defence, and rotation

Dj

I know the bk 4 I chose ain't quality but it would be much better than the current show of chit we have now.

Wenger did want to sell Jenko but he said no and that he only wanted to leave on loan.

We got rid of Sagna, Verm and Jenko in the summer and only got Chambers. Letting Jenko go was a stupid move especially as he wasn't going to sign anyone else.
