Blarm, no not heard anything of him....but he sounds immense!!!!
Shinj...I think its natural to try and be solid in 1 or 2 and more risky in 1 or 2.
The trick is to play amazingly on all tables, all the time Easier to type than to actually do.

So on Friday I went to play 1-2 at the Vic. Bit of a punt tbh.
Was dealt AA utg so raised it up, CO reraised me and I 4bet. He flats and we see a flop of JT7 rainbow. I bet like half, he asks for a count of my chips and then calls. Turn is a beautiful Ace, I check and he shoves. He shows JJ. £400 over to me lol, sick cooler

WOW!!
Love them hands. Sounds like you both played it well.
How big of a raise was it by you originally?
Just wondering if he could've got away when you 4 bet?
Obv. never getting away from it once the J comes. And the fact it's rainbow makes it all the better for him.
You must've sensed he had QQ or KK (no less really) if he's calling a 4 bet?
JJ isn't unforeseeable, but if I were him I'd be scared of a bigger pair - pre-flop of course - once the 4 bet came. All depends on the size of the raise, re-raise I guess.
Sick cooler indeed. That feeling when the A drops though and you have the nuts

I think his flat is the best play as i have AK in my range and potentially could be turning like AJo into a 4bet bluff

With the sizes as i remember them he needs 40% to call

Yes without the context of the previous hands' play it's hard to fully predict.
I sort of wish you hadn't mentioned you won before I read the breakdown then I could have put him on a hand myself whilst reading the breakdown.
Not sure if I'd have smelt a rat when he asked for the chip count then flatted.
I like to think I would, but is that because I knew he had to be massive due to the way you described the hand as a cooler? Probably.
Such a good game though. Next time you're at Nottingham give me a shout man.

If you tried getting away from AA on that board you would lose in the long run.

Yeah generally I don't fold muxh: I think that's one of the biggest things I'm looking to add to my game - good folds.
So have been overanalysing a bit.
Nothing worse than explaining to a beginner why calling a big raise on the turn is bad if they only have 3 outs. (for the gut-shot straight, for example)
And their answer is "I won though"

If you are in position that isnt too bad (as long as the board is good) because you can potentially bluff river.
I did that on Friday with AT but i also had both as overcards so not quite that bad
