After getting rid of AVB who was a young coach with all these fancy tactical ideas Levy decides to go and get another young coach with all these fancy tactical ideas. Basically AVB mark 2 and in my opinion an inferior one.
I honestly believe we have made a major error with Poch, the players need someone who gets the team worked up and makes them believe they are the best not someone with a face like a smacked bum giving them over complicated instructions.
We are stuck with him now and need to see how this season pans out at least but I honestly believe we will be looking (again) for another manager in the summer.
Why Poch

Would LVG have commanded their respect and kicked them in to life?
Dunno.
Would Frank De Boer? Still doubtful.
I weirdly think they need a character like Arry and I was not exactly his biggest fan during his time or now

Sizzle
Apart from Fergie in his heyday with a bit of the old hairdryer treatment, which manager out there would get "the best" from these players?
==============
Without trying to cause uproar, Sherwood did actually get the best out of players like Ade, Eriksen, Chadli (towards the end), he introduced Kane in the Prem, Bentaleb etc.
When posters were calling for Sherwood to be replaced i did say we should be careful what we wish for, and the majority wished for Poch.
It just goes to show that when you get a manager that seems to click with certain players at a club, then you are better sticking with them because the grass isnt always greener. Thats twice we've sacked managers for improving the club from when they took it over - and they are decisions that were backed by the majority on here.
Certain posters wanted change, they get it, then they choose another target....normally Ade or Levy.

I think Sherwood did alright overall, but what I would say was, he never won more than 2 games in a row in all his time at the club. That to me is a bit worrying.
Somewhat understandably, he came in halfway into the season and tried to do the opposite of what AVB had done to freshen things up and it worked to a point, the same way Di Matteo coming into Chelsea after AVB had worked when things were stale there. But I question how good he'd be long term when he has to build a team and handle cup competitions as well as the league etc. He's only a novice after all. Poch isn't that much more experienced really, and just one reason we should give him time to learn the ropes.

Usually I would give a manager time, but so far with Poch I have seen no signs of improvement whatsoever, in fact we are getting worse.
That is worrying, after around 17 games I would expect some signs that things are improving.
However, we were never going to realistically make top four this season, but it seems like a wasted opportunity with so many other teams struggling also.
We should advance into the KO stages of the EL and could have a League Cup semi, the cups could save our season and give Poch some more time.

He did win 4 straight Prem games though between 28th December – 18th January (against Stoke, Man United, Palace and Swansea), which I think is either a club record or joint record.
I don’t think the order of wins, draws and losses matter too much. Its more about the end total. For example, I would much rather win 2, draw 1, win 2, draw 1, than win 3, lose 3 (for example).
