I've heard a lot of spurs fans here and on other boards saying they'd love to see us sign Ade and Lass on the same day that Arsenal go out of the Champions League. I'm not so sure about that. Don't get me wrong i've loved watching Arsenal's demise over the last couple of weeks but i've got a feeling that this could affect us badly if they go out tonight. Realistically, they are our competition this year. Having no European football midweek will be a boost to their league hopes, hopes we share with them in tying up what in all probability will be the final Champions League spot. If we're playing Thursday / Sunday all the time there's not a chance in hell we could overtake them in the league with our commitments. We'd probably end up playing about 15-20 games more than them a year. Do we really want Arsenal to go out tonight? I'd personally like to see them carry on to exhaust their squad a little more.

Just checked. It's official. All teams that lose in the CL play-offs go straight into the Europa League group stages. This is gonna be fun tonight.

Arsenal are 1/3 to qualify & 0-0 is 10/1.
I might have a cheeky few quid on it, just to cover any disappointment should they scrape through.

I want Arsenal out, would be funny as hell watching them all crying.
They'll need a long run in the Europa to plug some of the CL sized hole in their budget too.

I might need a few more of them following tonight's game. I have a bad feeling Di Natale and Co will give us a hiding

I do fear for Arsenal tonight, its an obvious statement to make, but the first goal is ridiculously crucial

I will be F-F-F-F-FURIOUS if the Goons go out !!!
That will be a CL place wasted, and just about epitomise the mindset of the Sky 4 thinking they have a devine right to have their snouts in the trough no matter how mediocre their CL efforts have been over the years.
