i think it is very decent of our club to allow Covs players and fans to wear a premier shirt.
It is the nearest they will get to seeing Premier football at the Ricoh.
Brings whole new meaning to the old chant of "leicester rejects" !

Not quite in the same vein, but this reminds me of the small woollens shop along Upperton Road near Sheffield Street quite a few years ago. The front window sported a Derby County scarf and rumour was it that they were churning out duplicates out the back for would-be defectors. These were not 'the good old days' for City so there were probably a few who cottoned on to it.

I always passed that window on the way to the Filbert Street and amazingly it always appeared intact.

...just 'Filbert Street' that should have read.

By the way, I've just secured one of the remaining tickets for the Sunderland match (West Stand) at a cost of £65...so more fool me. That's all they have left I was told.

I dare say Coventry City fans don't want my pity, but they have it regardless. The way they've been treated over recent years (and continue to be treated this season) is a disgrace to football.

Superficially, it may look a lot like one of ours, but my sources say that when examined under an ultraskyblue light source, it actually reads

'KING POXY

so really is a Coventry shirt after all.
