Pretty useless now especially at 5-a-side but I remember years ago playing for the school team and smashing in a 30 yarder on the volley against the school opposite the road. Feel on top of the world when you score a worldie

We were playing a footie tournament with some big teams , we made it to the semi final. My coach set me on the bench since I got wrecked the previous day with the lads at a local pub. he was not too pleased.

We were trailing the second half 1-0. I came off the bench in the last 10 minutes remaining. Immediately I was involved in some game play which I took on 2 defenders and assisted in the equalizer. Minutes later I was 1 on with keeper trying to nutmeg him , ball hit his heel and flew off the cross bar which a player rebounded in the goal which took us to the final.

Eventually I was not involved in the final which we lost.

In my early teens I was playing as goalkeeper for one of the local sides and during a cup game we were losing 1 - 0 so I went up for a corner. The ball pinballed around the box and I managed to get a toepoke into the bottom corner only for the linesman (who was the opposition manager) to state that it definitely hadn't crossed the line.
