Just trying to get Sky Sports 5 to work with my sky sports subscription, reading the info it looks like signing up to it signs you up to all of sky for 12 months, am I right or am I miss reading it?

If you subscribe to sky sports you can upgrade for free

I know it comes with the rest of the sports package but below the "proceed with order" button it says "12 months minimum subscriptions". Makes me think it ties you in for another 12 months if you sign up to it? Would make sense as to why Sky make you sign up for it rather than just adding it to the package when they moved the sports channels round in summer.

I think you need broadband for Sky Sports 5

I court be wrong but I think when I ordered Sky 3/4 months ago I was told I'd get sky sports 5 as I have the broadband.
Again, I could be wrong

I was wrong, just sign in to your online account and activate it, failing that five them a bell.
"Sky customers with Sky Sports can register now and receive Sky Sports 5 as part of their sports package, at no extra cost, and as a further bonus they can also get two years’ free Sky Broadband Unlimited worth £7.50 a month"

Just press activate and then don't confirm the next part.

It's the free broadband that requires the 12 month subscription, not SKY sports 5
