But the burning questions are:

Is he worse than Geoff Thomas?

Is he better than Mike Duxbury?

Will his England career last longer than Carl Jenkinson's?

The Arsenal full back - currently on loan at West Ham - could have played for either England or Finland, but unluckily for fans of the Three Lions, Jenkinson's wishes were fulfilled by Roy Hodgson when he made his debut for the national side in a friendly against Sweden.

Arsene Wenger is known for spotting talent and much was made of Jenkinson's move to North London from Charlton Athletic in 2011. Yet, the novelty wore off and his average displays led the Gunners boss to offer him out for loan.

Most believe that his over-achieving career at Arsenal is over, without even mentioning the prospect of him playing for England again........

Please remind me of how many clown Liverpool fans actually thought Henderson had a good game despite everyone else on the face of the earth realising he was pretty damn horrific.

Still doesn't stop Jenkinson from being crap

And Flanagan has as good a chance as any other England defender (except Jenkinson) of being given another go when he recovers from injury.

Sweet D'Jeeeeezus they were bad as a unit last night.

Flanagan Already been replaced by a younger model.
