Hi I read this story and I really want to share it with you guys
I remember a time when only one of our mates had a fake id fit for purpose meaning he became the go to guy to get us booze. We were all chilling in the park one particularly hot afternoon when we decided to do a whip round and cart Alex off to the shops to get the beers in. We pooled about £10 and gave him the single instruction of 'get some nice beer'.
Back he comes with a big fat grin on his face 15 mins later and with 20 cans of warm Tetleys about to go out of date. Astounded to find out that this wasn't what we had in mind, he then proceeded to reel off a catalogue of clearly more suitable deals we could have got for the same price. I speak from experience when I say there are few things more unsavoury than having to swig warm Tetleys in 28C summer's heat, whilst at the same time being given a list of other tastier, colder and more desirable beverages that you could have been drinking instead.
I am reminded of that day every time Wenger pipes up to remind Arsenal fans of the great players he 'almost' signed.

Lager should be banned. Vile stuff that is drunk by kids and thugs. And as proof I will offer the fact that Stella is nicknamed wifebeater. You kknow Im right.

Heineken, Fosters and Carlsburg form the great triumphate of my "how the hell did that ever happen?" class of beers. It's a fairly complex system.
Of those three Carlsburg sits comfortably at the bottom, as I recall its taste is indistinguishable from that of actual dishwater. Particularly when warm. Ewww.

Heineken is fairly good, when not in a can. The tier you describe is the Fosters/Carlsberg/Carling level. Carlsberg is undrinkable, though the export is a lot better. I'd love to try it in Copenhagen, where it probably tastes quite good.
When I drink lager I try not to drink much worse than San Miguel. I like ales more. I love a pint of Harveys.

A PINT of Harveys? Crikey. Even my gran couldn't drink that much sherry.
I can't believe Carlsburg tastes good anywhere in the world - I often think the Danes only export it to the UK, for a bit of a joke, like.

Sherry? No no. It's an ale produced back home in Sussex. Made in Lewes, in fact. Good stuff.

Thinking about it Carlsburg has a lot in common with Nick Bendtner.

Export is drinkable but normal Carlsberg is like 3%

CEG, I'm concerned that your 'drinkability' scale appears to be directly linked to the alocohol content.
