‘ROOOOONEY!’ ITV commentator Clive Tyldesley confused Wayne with The Ox!
Oxlade-Chamberlain is going to have to start carrying a name tag around with him….oh wait, he does – it’s on his ‘ROOOOOOOOONEY!’, thinking it was the Man United and England captain, before quickly correcting himself when the camera closed in on the Arsenal man.
Note how he seamlessy went from Rooneeeeeeey to, ‘And it’s Oxlade-Chamberlain!’, as if nothing had happened!

Well I missed the game but caught the post match analysis on Sky. Based on that it sounded like Rooney was playing for England on his own, as they didn't mention any other players. So are you sure that's not him?
