Over here we’re very much divided on our opinion of the Boss. There’s a faction that is adamant that Wenger is no longer a top manager and will not improve Arsenal, therefore he should go. On the other side of the rainbow there’s those that back Wenger 100%, sure that with financial backing the glory days are just over the horizon. Others are more mixed. They want to see Wenger do well, but realise he’s no longer the force of old, and so should be removed sooner rather than later.
However, I’m genuinely interested to know what other opposition fans think of Arsene Wenger. Do you think us Gooners are simply mad to want a great manager out, or mad that we’ve allowed him to remain here this length of time? That Wenger deserves all the time we can give him or should there be a set (more stringent than currently exists) of requirements for Wenger to fulfil every season?
In fact, it would be great if you Gooners set out your stance. Some posters stance is well defined, but I’m unclear on the majority.
Please keep this WUM free and amicable. I will try to open this out to all boards.

Its clear to see that he's too close to his players and isnt ruthless enough as he should be. He endures mediocrity for too long probably because he believes in them far too much and because his management style is straight out of the textbook which is redundant in this day and age.

Damn, Mr C, that's about as spot-on as it gets. Couldn't word it any better. Sad but true. I'd like to see him transform into front office, such a legendary manager can't just be cast aside.

I think unless you get very lucky you'll be worse off without him

Fecking Moyes has made Wenger look like a godsend. "Be carefully what you wish for", "the grass isn't always greener". Feck off Moyes.
We don't need to "get lucky" with our next manager, we just need to be facking smart and not do either of the following:
1. Hire somebody clearly under qualified.
2. Fail to back who ever we hire with significant finance.
With an available management wage of £8m per year I doubt the above will be a problem.
Would be great for Wenger to win the league and prove everyone wrong though.

He has been amazing for me. I know he gets frustrated and is a sore loser but that for me is how everyone should be. The man/ manager comes across as a gentleman and as someone who not only loves football but knows the game inside out.
Every club has seen managers come and go whilst Fergie dominated but Wenger has been there through most of these years, he is a foreign manager and I feel it is easy for fans to say they don't understand the English game and want rid but this has not proved a problem for him.
I've often said to my mates it will be a very very sad day when he leaves Arsenal and the prem.
I can't think of a player or manager I have liked / respected so much from another club.

Wenger is a joke. Pathetic excuse of a manager long past his best. Another display tonight of why he should get out.

Pìss poor tactics, no planning and a laughable excuse of a defence cost us. All Wengers fault.
