Very inexperienced but i think hes better suited to start ahead of Chambers in that position. It was glaringly obvious Montero's pace would cause problems for Chambers yet i dont why Wenger continued to play him there. Its sheer negligence. Bellerin, although not experienced, certainly does have the pace to keep up with the likes of Di Maria et al. which is an important strength of United. Furthermore, i feel Monreal lacks height awareness which may yet again be exploited, so i really do fear that we might be in for a rough game if the likes of Fellani and RVP are in the box vs Monreal thats why i would shift Chambers in into CB as he has impressed in that position more so than RB.
Yes, Bellerin is a risk but id rather have a 1 weakness in our defence rather than 2 when Monreal and Chambers.
Knowing Wenger, he'll opt for Monreal again so i fully expect to see United score a headed goal..
But never the less, COYG!!
Bellerin has to start!!

Should play Giroud at CB and Sanchez RB so he can deal with Di Maria. Because clearly, being a defender has nothing to with your defensive capabilities but more to do with how you match up in a race or a fist fight with the opposition.

Chambers is reckless and will undoubtedly give way a pen at CB.
Look bottom line is that we will concede tonight. No way in hell Rooney and rvp will be quiet all night

Not sure why people keep slating Monreal. He hasn't been great at CB but Mertesackes been worse

No way we're getting through this game with a clean sheet. We just have to hope our forwards are on it today because it's gonna have to be the "We'll score one more than you" approach to get anything out of this game

Problem with wengers teams is that when the going gets tough, they seem to freeze.
Even if we are leading 2-0 after 80 mins I would back united to get back into it.
Nach and per just doesn't work

Chambers is easily better than Monreal in CB, times chambers has played in CB it looked more natural and he complements Mertesacker well. Monreal gets out of position and gives away silly mistakes. If wenger had a football brain he would have started bellerin in rb weeks ago to get him in March fitness and game time. But it's Le prof we are talking about.

Not sure I agree. Kos complements BFG well because he has pace and can sweep up any mistakes and keep up with the quicker strikers. Chambers doesn't have that sort of pace. Monreal is more in the mould of Kos, just less experienced and not the same physicality.

Not sure where people are getting Chambers compliments Mertesacker well from. How many times have they played CB together? Everton in the 2-2, when we defender poorly?
As someone else said, people are talking like Chambers has had loads of games at CB. The games I remember (Besiktas when Ba should have had at least a hat-trick, the aforementioned Everton game, and Palace alongside Koscielny) Chambers has been naive, vulnerable and pretty much out of his depth.
