Our only saving grace at the moment is the fact that Man Utd, Liverpool, and Tottenham have all been woeful as well.
Honestly though, it's incredibly frustrating because for the last few seasons the big teams have been so underwhelming, and I really feel there was an opportunity to pull away from the pack and establish ourselves as the top-dog domestically.
Sadly, we too have been totally mismanaged, and now Chelsea - seemingly the only big side being properly managed - are absolutely miles ahead.
Mourinho hasn't done anything particularly mind-blowing; he just has a system in mind and brings in players to suit said style (as opposed to what we've done, which is spend huge sums on players, like Ozil, who aren't needed, whilst leaving gaping holes in other areas of the squad).
I just can't understand why other managers - all paid millions per year - fail to follow this sort of formula.

It doesn't cheer me up, it písses me off. If Wenger hadn't ruined all the good work from last season we've be miles ahead of these wasters.
