Can Centre Backs play two games in a week?

They should be able to with ease unless they're old. They shouldn't be running the sort of distances that would knacker them.... Although ours are usually out of position and therefore rack up appox 16km per game

I know it is early days for Fazio, but from what I have seen of him so far he looks clumsy, slow and ponderous.

I hope he can turn into the no nonsense defender we need.

Chicken - I think we'll have to agree to disagree here. Not saying he was perfect, but you could always see what he was trying to do even if it didn't come off. There weren't any hopeful punts forward.

They are diagrams of completed passes, so can't be cut and pasted in unfortunately. Maybe check them out later when you've finished work.

Can you change it for just the first half? I can't do it. I'd be interested to see if they are noticeably worse

Not so much a matter of rest as trying to give as many of the squad CBs as much competitive game time as possible.

But most of the current potential CB pairings have not been tried out sufficiently for real. We have two Europa group + one League Cup game to play around with. After that, the manager better know which CB pairings he would be happy to play if there are no injuries.

HRH - you should be able to drag the two grey bars at each end of the timeline below the pitch to narrow down the minutes. Six of his Fazio's eight unsuccessful passes were in the first half.

Fair play if he increased his stats with a high completion rate in the 2nd, but that is a poor stat for 45 mins of football.
