I've always thought that Mark Lawrenson was a bit of a prat. However, I met him in a bar in Southport on Saturday night and he's actually a decent fella.
They say how it's bad to meet your heroes. May be the opposite is true with jeb ends?!

Lawro comes across as a nice enough bloke IMO, don't necessarily agree with his football views but I e never seen him as a bad or annoying person.

Lawro was on the champagne but he seemed pretty sober. Having said that it was 2 in the morning and i'd been drinking since 4 in the afternoon so I was fairly slaughtered by then so he may have been drunk too!
