What the hell have you boys done to Roberto Soldado? Seriously?
In Spain he was good goal scorer, not world class or anything but very consistent at least.
Ok, you overpaid for him when he was a good player in Spain, but now, wow, I'd genuinely class it the same bracket as the Carroll and Torres deals.
Yesterday he should of put you boys ahead, but didn't even hit the target..is it the system you are playing or is it that he has just declined rapidly? I don't watch full games of you boys so I genuinely don't know. He hasn't been injured badly or anything so I don't know how he could have declined that much?!
Genuine question.

He will start scoring soon , just needs a run of games , his having to adjust his game to fit into our style.

his link up play is good, but his finishing awful.
we messed him up a bit. when he came we played him in a system that doesn't suit him at all.... he didn't score goals freely, lost confidence, and then started missing sitters.
got dropped and has never regained his place.
I hope he gets a run now though

Actually I'm pretty sure that most of the fee was to be paid based on achievements (apps, goals, trophies etc). I don't think we paid much more than £10m for him as an initial outlay. I forget where I heard that, might have been on here. I'm not sure how that works because it sounds like a pretty foolish move on Valencia's part to bank on his success for the fee.
He's had enough chances just like the others. We've given them a season and a half but as far as I'm concerned we need to ship out Soldado, Paulinho, Lamela (Yes, even him. Flatters to deceive), Fazio, Stambouli, Capoue. I'd keep Chiriches, he's a talent that needs refining. Fazio is just a lump with two left feet.
I've lost my tolerance now. I've had enough. We need to start again from scratch, without Baldini's help.

We break them at Spurs.Send us Ronaldo and Messi for a season and you'll see what they are like in a years time. They wouldn't hit a barn door with a banjo.
Thats how we roll

Soldado is one of the few players we have with a footballing brain, he is cute in possession and uses the ball very well, if Poch gets the team to play to our forwards strengths then Soldado (and Ade + Kane) will score goals.
Unfortunately Poch seems intent on unsuitable formations, inverted wingers etc.
I hope Poch sees the light and plays 2 up more often, especially in home games where we have become far too predictable and easy to play against.

AVB and Baldini happened. In their infinite wisdom they decided that he was some sort of target Man who's game is all about holding up the ball so players could run beyond him. Probably wasted a fortune on some private jet and fancy hotel to go and scout him incorrectly when all they had to do was watch a match on Sky sports to know his style
