why was he ruled offside when one on one with their defender and Persie on his right? These kind of decisions are upsetting.
P.S. Di maria should be given a free role from now on.

pity?
agreed, a team of FA trained, FIFA approved automatons will put a stop to these shenanigans.

Take this one just gone.,..red card for Hull player, that one with Rooney through, the Lukaku goal that was offside etc. You could even argue Fellaini pushed Gibbs for our first. Barkley not getting done for diving. Wilshere not sent off. Far too many big decisions wrong.
...............
Yacobs red against Chelsea wasn't even a foul although the pundits tried to brush over it. He did not play the ball with two feet as suggested on the TV, and the one foot he did play it with won the ball well before Costa even got there.

how is di maria getting on for you guys? seems that most the big games this season he hasnt played great. Bit like fabregas for us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We're over reliant on him to a degree. He still puts a shift in but when he's your main pacey outlet the better opposition generally get 2 bodies onto him quickly.
Also, this was a case on Saturday,he makes intelligent runs but a few of our players dont play into him quickly enough.
But I think he's done well, can do better but we ,overall, still dont look like a team and that is still going to take some time.Injuries aren't helping.
Also I dont think Fabregas has been that poor in the big games.Maybe alittle subdued but you're certainly a better team with him than without him.You need to have entertaining players because that's what football should all be about:entertainment.

dnt get me wrong, I love what he has done already, great great player, as di maria looks, but big games he hasnt been a force yet.

I thought that at first but there was one angle where he is clearly off the ground with two feet so I could see why it was given as a red actually even if I wouldn't have done so.

Do many of you guys listen to this poster?
seems to just WUM on every board.
May not of been a red, if it was against me in a match I'd be a bit angry and can definately see why the ref gave it. but atleast a yellow. Reason their own manager didnt complain about it.

I put Di Maria on a similar level to Rooney.
Often great, frustrating at times, downright poor on occasion.... But always carries a threat, even on his worst day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wouldntput him on rooneys level yet,
Its weird di maria and sanchez were my favourite players in la liga and now theyre playing for rivals but Rooney is always a threat in big games and had a period of 4 or 5 years where he was your best performer against chelsea.
He was even your best player against City IMO.

I mean in terms the way he can be a threat, even when playing badly. Should have worded it better.

Against Chelsea he kept Ivanovic on his toes all game. We rarely saw him bombing forward like he usually does for Chelsea, because he knew how dangerous ADM can be. He played pretty well in that game to be fair.
Against city he was so, so and being down to ten men didn't help.
Saturday he could have had a goal and an assist had his finishing been better.
I would say that he is the third name down on the team sheet after DDG and Wazza.

I watched it a couple of times from the same angle we saw it at first.
I think had Costa have been closer to him I could see why it might be a red. But Costa only went over after Yacob had played the ball.
I think the speed he went in at made the refs mind up.
When I first saw it in real time it did look bad, mind.

1. Yes quite a few of our fans listen to me. Some agree, some don't, that is how it should be.
2. I very rarely post on another teams board, so I suggest you are full of crap there pal.
