Nice gesture from Arsenal, but it feels to me that Gascoigne is missing the one thing he really needs - someone by his side.
Money, treatment etc. are all great, but if there's no stability at home and no one by his side, it's not surprising he keeps slipping back into trouble.
Not that I know anything about his personal situation.

Gazza will always be my cult hero for what i witnessed on the pitch from him, but i have lost all patience for him and would almost begrudge him getting anything free from THFC.
In saying that, i'll treat him to a whole cooked chicken the next time he wants to go support a murderer on the run....
