Is it really fair, he was by far our best striker last season, the dreadful Torres won't score, just why exactly is Drogba on the bench, he should be the one starting and Torres coming in later, maybe if we had lost to West Brom AVB would have started with Drogba in the next game. A big power player like Drogba the more he is kept on the bench the rustier he will get and won't be able to deliver when he call on him. if we don't need him then we should sell him off, no need keeping the goal king on the bench, we will only end up wounding his pride leading to a reduction in his self confidence and self belief which is very vital for a potent attacker to keep scoring. Torres is not scoring because he doesn't believe in his self anymore, do we want Drogba to end up like that?
AVB please unleash the drog.
this would be my team against Norwich

Drogba on the bench

1. Torres will find form.
2. I believe Drogba is a proffesional, its not necessarily disrespectful to a player to have them on the bench, Say for example Torres tortures the opposing defense for 65 mins then you big Drogba on with fresh legs, I think that tactic might be as good in reverse to be honest, to bring Torres on with his pace. But AVB is the man and I'm stuck in a low paid menial job so I'll leave it to him.
Maximum respect for Drogba a true legend and most importantly a team player.

Let judge Torres when we have the creativity in the team.Lampsy, Malouda are clearly not creative enough and always want to be in the end of things. At 33, Drogba can only be a squad player, and in my own opinion,it is high time we moved away from the all power type of play and be a bit more creative.Hopefully, Mata, Pereira, and Modric/mouthinho will make that happen.I am very optimistic Torres will come out smokey

What, we didn't have a best striker last year they were all terrible. Ok had an illness but will he get back to what he was, there are the same questions with Lampard at the moment so we will just have to wait and see.

Really, the start of the season yes, after that no. Imo Anelka was the best when playing as a striker or at the top of the diamond.

did you watch the match vs west brom? , drogba was terrible and did nothing when he came on , his first touch was terrible and he just gave the ball away, he also missed an epic pass by ivanivic.

Well to be fair, Torres has been our best striker in pre season and against stoke and WBA so AVB can't just randomly drop Torres, can he?

We have been saying that since January and he has only ever looked good against Stoke

Drog should never ever be behind Kalou in the rankings, & should start
Ridiculous thinking by AVB...
