From the BBC Gossip Column:
Liverpool are ready to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, 32, Porto striker Jackson Martinez, 28, and Norwich winger Nathan Redmond, 20, in a £47m triple deal in the January transfer window. (Metro)
Although the Metro is not the best source, it's welcome news this morning.

' I cant see Chelsea selling to us and he will probably have better offers'
******************
I'm not so sure. The other clubed linked with him is Arsenal and they could still be considered a 'rival' by Jose whereas you are probably not
this season
===
If Arsenal are in for him I think the player himself will want to go there as he wouldn't need to uproot his life. I also dont think Arsenal will be seen as Chelsea's rivals by January, they could be 20 points clear by then or even more.

ARE, haven't we learnt our lesson about buying from Serie A? Aquilani, Borini and now Balotelli... I'd avoid Icardi.

Don't rate Redmond to be honest.
We already have a plethora of players of his ilk, most of which are better/potentially better than he is.

Redmond is a shining light - I hate how we just write of with such ease British players.
He just needs to improve decision making in and around the area - as part of the squad I would take him.
However we have Ibe so not so sure at the moment, good player nonetheless.

Perhaps it's watching them fail miserably in the World Cup that has that effect?

We have Sterling, Marko and Ibe and might not be in the CL next season. Dont see why we would want Redmond. Unless departures are planned then we also need to watch the wage bill.

We also have Wilson, Ojo who are not much younger than Redmond and are highly rated young wide players.
We really don't need Redmond.
