No. It is not in our plans.

We run the site from Android about 30% of the time. The site is in HTML5 and there is little benefit we see to actually "apping" JA606 as the site itself is a very small payload with regards to pagesize.

Why do you ask?

It would make life easier browsing and contributing via a smartphone. What about a mobile site or would that pose the same problems?

Both myself and Admin2 view and admin the site off Android 2.2 smart phones with little problem. So we don't see the effort reward as being worthwhile for us to allocate resources to that effect. Our heaviest user uses the phone from the IPhone platform with no problem either.

I'm still running off Android 2.1 on the HTC Desire, so that could be the problem. It is not the smoothest user experience.

Opera-mini for Android is worth a shout. That is what we use. Should be the same experience on 2.1 Android.

I use the stock web browser, have been with 2.2 and now 2.3 no issues, did look at Dolphin HD & Opera but for me the stock one does an efficient job.
