tbh i'm getting bored with all things Town at the moment....there's no ooomph anywhere...going to the games and there's no atmosphere...Deano is happy with us just surviving in this league..by whatever margin...ok CP has got us moving a bit but we're back to playing one up front at home again...something Elsie and Robins were lambasted for.

Off the field nowt is happening despite all the stuff with ATT and NSL andthe SLO coming on board...no progress anywhere...the catering is still rubbish, prices too high ..beer is 'orrid... fans are drifting away season by season, 1,000 less this year after a 1,000 less last year...?

Nah, the adrenalin rush has all gone...I know Deano is aour big saviour, but he isn't half a boring burgher...and we don't even have Clibbens and jarvis to look forward toon Twitter anymore since they've taken their bats home...

I agree some of the excitement has disappeared from football, perhaps it's an age thing? 😀

I think all seater stadia have had a massive impact on atmosphere, but don't know whether safe standing will ever be introduced.

I refuse to buy food or drink at the ground, it's overpriced rubbish. Plus they don't really cater for vegetarians apart from crisps and chocolate. No thanks, I'll pass.

I also think international breaks have a lot to answer for as teams often lose their momentum, must be like starting the season every few weeks.

However, even though my excitement levels don't reach the heights they used to, I'll continue to turn up week after week as Town are my team and always will be.😍

I've had a rotten cold for a few days and before that spent 3 days in bed with a virus or something equally horrid...so maybe that's a clue to me misery guts...

and i've got appointment at Hosp on monday which i don't want to go to..so i'm fed up really ..

only thing cheering me up is UTG's excitement levels 'not reaching the heights they used to..'..

I've got the docs tomorrow, and now I've got chuffin toothache!

If Town lose to Bolton I think there'll be a few more getting miffed with Town. All that optimism after that mini run looks like we may still be hovering above the bottom. Then again, a couple of wins and the faith will be rekindled. Just getting in to the top eight would be a buzz!

feeling a bit better today folks ...though this foggy weather isn't doing much to brighten things up..

awful about Hughes, and for his family...I guess the bowler will be in shock too, There's been a few near misses recently and maybe a revised head guard is now required.

As for Town, well one win in six has seen us dragged back into drop danger again, just 3 points clear although plenty of teams in between us and the drop zone. Bolton have found a bit of form and it isn't a ground where we do very well is it.. 8 wins in 44 attempts ...although we snook a 1-0 win there last season, so who knows ?

would be great to get a sniff of the play offs for a change...but Brentford are up next (£10 admission) and they are on form...so it could all be doom and despondancy again in a fortnight
