Bert - A new bid for Nicky Maynard before Friday, and it's going to be a record fee with add ons! Fingers crossed people.
Stringer - Nicky Maynard to #lcfc deal isn't done yet but with Howard, Waghorn and Kermorgant going, could there be more than 1 front-man coming in?
Interesting that Stringer suggests no deal is done 'yet'. Does he know a bid is in or a deal is close?

It's been known for some time that Nicky Maynard will come to LCFC....
Bristol have bid for Adam Le Fondre from Rotherham so things are FINALLY starting to happen.
6.25m with add-ons rising to 6.75m is the general word on the street.
No idea who the 2nd potential target is but it could be an over seas Striker.

Well, in general, 5 Strikers is usually a bad idea.
If we did get two more strikers, then Schlupp will definitely go out on loan.
but tbh, if you have Nugent, Vassell, Maynard and Schlupp in your squad, surely you must be happy with that?

Yes. Though I'd hang on to Howard for a physical option myself.

Howard can't play a full 90 mins, not even a full 60mins, he'd be a waste of a sub on a five man bench. If he came on to change a game at this stage of the team rebuild, I'd be very worried.
