Dream League Season 2 - Week 4 results

Pride Vs Taiwan
Line ups

----------------------Enyeama-------------------------

-------------------Pirlo----------Blind--------------------
-------Robben--------T.Hazard----------Pedro---------
------------------------Immobile-------------------------

Vs

_______________________Navas____________________
Barragan_________Terry________Chiellini________Shaw
________________Alonso________Barry______________
Bellarabi______________Coutinho________________Son
_______________________Tevez____________________

Two top quality sides and tactics from both men….think both sides will be there or there abouts come the end of the season….Ludy has most probably the best defence in the league whilst Pride has in my opinion the best front four….Imagine how good they’d be if Pride was player manager
The midfield was fairly even as Pirlo and Alonso are pretty similar and Blind probably just edges Barry.
I just thought that on the day PedRobben would cause Barragan and Shaw a lot of problems and the clever running of Immobile would do some damage to Taiwan’s solid but slow-ish defence. Taiwan themselves aren’t without firepower, but I’d trust Masch to be able to silence Tevez. All this plus home advantage gives Pride a tight but hard fought victory

Final Score

Pride 2 – 1 Taiwan

Goals:
Pride: Immobile (Robben), Pedro (Pirlo)
Taiwan: Tevez (Coutinho)
Bookings:
Pride: Hojbjerg, Immobile
Taiwan: Terry, Bellarabi, Di Natale

MOTM:
Mascherano – under-rated in my opinion at times but he does the dirty work well and that always gives his team a platform to build from…Did a good job of mostly keeping Tevez quiet

Goals: Bonucci (Thiago), Alcacer (Brahimi) Thiago (Solo effort)

Bookings:
Qarabag: 3 to be selected at random
Notts Co: Rugani,Bernat,Samper,Alcacer

MOTM
Scuffet – Clean sheet away from home didn’t put a foot wrong…Joe Hart-esque

Arbeloa===San Jose======Laporte=====Balenzagia

=============Gabi=========Ake================

Deulofeu============Suarez===============Tello

===================Aduriz=====================

Di’s Barca team have really improved and I like her faith in the style of play/players she wants and that’s a good thing Haak in his own has a certain style of player he goes for and today is a big contrast in styles. The key battle today as both sides have the same formation is the central midfield area and as much as I like Di’s set-up I just feel Haak’s powerhouse midfield would dominate the centre of the park and as such the game. Di Shouldn’t be too downhearted though as I do feel that Haak has one of the very best spines of any team in either division.

Final Score
Fart 3 – 1 Barca

Goals:
Fart – Yaya (Insigne), Ba (Yaya), Yaya (pen)
Barca – Deulofeu (Gabi)

Bookings:
Fart – Ba, Shaqiri ,Insigne, Rami
Barca – Ake, Aduriz, De Marcos, Speroni

MOTM – Yaya, Top, top performance from him today as he dominated the centre of the park and gave his side a platform to build on…2 goals and an assist shows his value to his side, even though the dive for the Pen (and Speroni’s booking) doesn’t look very good on him

SC Cambuur – Miami Fusion

Line ups

-------------------Horn
Fabinho--- Süle--- Schär-- -Dória
------------------Imbula
------------Sturaro---Gomes
Ocampos--------------------Talisca
--------------------Zaza

Vs

-------------------Costeels------------------
----------Cannavaro---T.Blackett----------
Byram---------------------------------P.Evra
---------Illaramendi----Paul Pogba---------
--------------------Barkley-------------------
A.El Ghazi-------------------------Bahebeck
--------------------Gignac---------------------

A really close game to call as both sides in my opinion playing a nice variant of the 4-3-3. Miami for me have the edge in the middle and with their mix of pace, power and technique will give any team a run for their money. Cambuur however, have the players out wide to really trouble Miami and I think right now both their wingers would come out on top against Miami’s full backs….Fan has built a solid tough team to beat in a short space of time, and in time will be a contender but right now I think his defence just lets him down slightly and Cambuur’s front 3 punish them

Final score

Cambuur 2 – 1 Miami

Goals
Cambuur: Zaza (Talisca), Talisca (Ocampos)
Miami: Gignac (Pogba)

Bookings:
Cambuur: Imbula,Sturaro,Doria,Sule
Miami: Illaramendi,Blackett

MOTM – Talisca – Just feel the left winger would cause Byram more problems than he could possibly deal with, as evidenced by his goal and assist, the kids got massive potential and 8 goals in 10 league games for Benfica this season

Blyth Spartans 2-1 Fishguard Sports

Blyth scorers: Morata x2 (pen, Menez)
Fishguard scorer: Klaassen (wonder goal)

MOTM: De Rossi - ran the show all afternoon.

Blyth were much more stronger of the two sides, but the fresh legs from the bench gave them their goal.

Yellows:
Blyth (3) Jagielka, Delph, Maggio
Fishguard (3) Vietto, Praet, Ryan
