What to do with the returning Chadli? I think, judging by the last game everyone should keep their places. The only player I would say is interchangeable with Chadli is probably Soldado. Thoughts?

Kane or Eriksen in that system, and to keep his goal threat.
Lennon if we wanted to keep the shape

Think Soldado has to play up top as his runs create space for others and he holds the ball up very well.
Sticking Chadli up front is a gamble that's not worth taking at the moment.
The problem we always have is trying to squeeze players in to the team.
Let's build on the winning team and replace when it's necessary due to form or injuries. Don't see why Soldado deserves dropping even if Chadli has scored goals before injury. He'll have to win his place back.

Can we really name the same side for Wednesday? I'd be surprised if Poch does although I would like the back 4 to remain the same.
My only worry is can our midfield 4 keep that tempo up with just two days rest in between. I think they can but only Poch and the management team will know.

I'd like to pack the midfield and Kane does a good job at getting back and getting involved and his drive from midfield is important. I think we can keep the same xi if Chirches is fit and I think it's a good option. Maybe Stambouli has a chance instead of Mason or Bentaleb.

Any news on the Chiriches injury?

Eriksen is scoring and creating in from the left. As he was last season.
Kane is dropping off, running at defences from deep.
They are the natural rivals for Chadli at present, and neither deserve to be dropped.
The alternative is putting him wide right, but I doubt he'd give the side what Lennon has been.
Him and Lamela and Townsend n the bench for the moment

Unchanged in all probability, but Lennon usually does next to nothing away from WHL, so I would expect Chadli to be a serious consideration if fit.

Would have to say that after Slippy G's moment in the sun and 'Crystanbul', my favourite moment of last season was allardyce's press conference after they held chelsea to a dull 0-0 draw
