So basically Wenger has pretty much laid the framework for failure for the next three years, until his contract runs out. And when the inevitable happens, and we do fail to win the title, Wenger will hold his hands up and say goodbye.
I suppose we should be somewhat thankful though. OK, he’s confirmed that despite the protests, the discontent and the unrest in the club, he will stick it out for the remainder of his contract, regardless. But let’s be honest, no one really thought he was going to leave early, anyway. However he has pretty much confirmed that this will be his final contract. OK, we’ll just have to put up with another 2 and a half years of his inept management, but the silver lining is he’ll be gone after that.

To be fair to Wenger he doesn't actually say he'll win the league in 3 years. Some smart árse reporter asked him if he could win the league. What else is Wenger meant to say? "No lads, i'm just here for the money"?
The only thing that was mildly revealing was him stating it will be done before his contract is up, which strongly implies he'll be off at 2017.
Plenty of notice for the board to sort their acts out and prepare the process of finding a replacement.

Injuries have not helped but (last two games aside) irrespective of personnel, it does not take a tactical genius to prevent players from over committing, and leaving huge gaps in defensive / midfield areas.
A trait associated with many AW teams which has been routinely exploited by AW’s peers.

We can cope with the midfield injuries though GT - And maybe if he actually rotated and gave the likes of Rosicky, Poldi and Joel a chance then players wouldn't get injured so often.

No Dotty we didnt cope with our injuries in midfield well. We havent got the right balance especially in midfield.
