He said we did really well. Held our own.
Some good players coming.

I went. We had a couple of good spells. One after they scored the penalty when I thought we would score. Missed two really good chances.

Second half we had another good spell after the sending off but could not create a clear cut chance.

Their second killed us off. Against the run of play and a bit soft like the penalty really.

All in all we played ok but the gulf in class was evident as they were much more comfortable on the ball.

How did McDaid look?

I would anticipate that a similar statement could well be true if the first teams played each other. Probably with a similar scoreline as well.

He did OK. Should have scored with a header first half, was busy and has a good touch.

I doubt it, Bianchi would be far better on the ball than Fabregas.

Before they had their goalkeeper sent off we were due a goal, but when the dismissal came it caused them to park the bus, they then got quite a lucky break and we got caught out, game was gone then, score line didn't reflect it. We shocked them as they came quite arrogant thinking they was going to walk it.
