Today Playstation reaches a gaming milestone, it was 20 years to the day the first Playstation hit our homes (well not mine those were still Amiga days)
As a stroll down memory lane Sony has put together some of the most memorable adverts of the last twenty years.
As the title suggests which do you remember and which gen did you jump into Playstation?

I'm not certain but I think that Rayman was on Gamesmaster (with Patrick Moore) once and I remember thinking that it looked brill.

I remember the cover for resident evil (the one with chris redfield on it with a sort if manic grimace) and expecting the game to be something completely different, and then playing it and realising that it was just this awesome game with a great story that just seemed to keep going and going.
Also if like me you liked to play in the dark and you didn't completely crap yourself when the dog jumps out if the window then you are dead on the inside

Loved the game but even as a 15 year old i was shocked but the amazingly poor voice acting. But everything was great from being eating by the dog 50 times (as that was the only part on the demo disk, and this was when demos were out months before the games), to the first time you meet the hunters and giant snakes, and that amazing moment you find a machine gun! Ah and of course the best thing......letting a zombie get close to you push up and blow its head off with the shotty!

Alundra
Breath of fire 3
Koudelka
Metal Gear Solid
Resident evil 1,2 and 3
Silent hill
WWF attitude
Crash bandicoot
Cool boarders
Pandemonium 1 & 2
And so many more...
However I am still to this day in love with final fantasy 7, 8 and 9..
7 was and is still my favourite and 8 and 9 were not that far off! I played that game religiously...
Still have it for PSP downloaded off the ps store

To be honest I had forgotten how bad it actually was until I googled Barry burton quotes.
That voice acting was something else.
Still such a good game though, I think the resident evil series were probably my second favourite after the final fantasy series.
Resident evil 2 was something else, that game had four possible play throughs. Which for that sort of game at that time was unheard of.
