One Dutch Philosophy manager trolled, one bigged up yet only one point seperates Man utd and Southampton, it was 9 points only 3 games ago. I hope we beat Southampton and move into third.

Only 1 and a half weeks and the gap is now gone from 9 points to just 1 and I thought it would be dreamland if we went into the game against Sunderland needing a win to go 3rd.

Giroud changed the game. I've underrated his impact in the past tbh fair play to him.

Welbeck(Outwide) Giroud and Sanogo(4-4-2) for when we play Stoke. Give Sanchez a rest ffs.

Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster on BBC Sport: "It is disappointing. We have matched them for 90 minutes but couldn't see the game out. It is hard enough 11 against 11 but with a man short it is so tough. We needed a bit of luck that we didn't get.

"We just need to keep believing and keep doing what we did in the first 10 games of the season."

I don't buy that, as much as Southampton defended well, they didn't attack well at all. Arsenal created the better chances even before they were down to 10 men
