Another clean sheet. What do we all now make of our new keeper? I would leave him there until I he shows signs of weakness irrespective of who is available.

Has he even made a half decent save yet? Clean sheets are down to Kos returning and a more conservative approach.

Dominate performance from him tonight, his best performance so far imo.

he hasn't had a lot to do but he has been commanding when claiming crosses, not fumbling shots and distributing it well

His distribution is top notch though. Good to see a Gk who can kick it to his own players from distance.
Hes looks calm and assured and that Imo has made the defence more secure along with Kos coming bk. Remember Kos missed the Dortmund game and he was solid then.

His kicking and distribution is much better than Szczseny and as a result there seems to be less panic. Szczseny will always costs goals as a result.

I thought his save in the first half was probably the best he has had to make so far.

At least he don't flap at crosses.

He will face far bigger tests if he is in for much longer. Has done everything he has needed to thus far, so you can only praise him for that.
Such a shame that David Ospina is out, would have been a real opportunity for an experienced international keeper to make a claim for our #1 spot.
But as it is Szczesny will surely come back as number 1 when he is fit.

His kicking and distribution is unreal

His kicking and distribution was actually quite poor tonight - a couple went straight out of play and he was too slow to release for counter attacks at times.
What I did like was on a long high ball just getting into the box he just came and took it - no drama. He generally looks very good in the air.
