If it wasn't apparent at the start of the season it has clearly become clear that top 4 is almost certainly out of the question. City and chelsea are the top two and despite their struggles there is a sense of inevitability that united and arsenal will make up the rest of the top four.
So where does this leave us? The dilemma is whether it is worth finishing in the top 6 to ensure europa league football next season or whether we would actually benefit next season from the lack of european football. In my opinion we should wait and see where we are in february and if we're clearly not gonna get top four then we should almost completely focus on the europa league. Meanwhile the domestic cups should certainly be a priority, particularly if we can get past newcastle( no doubt we'll lose though).
Anyway I feel that our next 3 prem games are all winnable and therefore I'd like to see our key players rested on thursday where we only need a point to top the group. Rest lloris, davies, vertonghen, fazio, mason, bentaleb and kane and when I say rest I mean they shouldn't travel to Turkey at all! Oh and it's about time we saw dier at centre back.
Where do our priorities lie?

Top 4 was always a long shot at the start of the season. I said many times on here I thought we should consider Europa a bigger priority, as I thought it would be easier to achieve winning it than getting into the top 4 in the league. Anyone who did see top 4 as realistic at the beginning was clearly deluding themselves.
What I did hope for in the league was improved performances, in terms of as a team, and as individuals, as well as some hope we could reach a slightly higher points tally than last season. That doesn't appear to be happening so much and whether that can change is looking so far doubtful. For that I mostly look at the players and the people behind getting those players in.
Those priorities should remain the same, and if we're here near the end of the season challenging for top 4, having done well in the cups/still in them, then Poch will have overachieved and done very well.

Our priorities:
Sack that t1t balbagdini
Balance the squad
Sign some wingers and play with pace and width like we used to
Get rid of anyone who doesn't want to play for the club
Keep loris, eriksen
Try to play attacking football instead of this narrow boring stuff we have played since harry was fired
Try not to get spanked by every top four club
Reconnect the club and the fans
Make Whl a place to be proud of again
Sort out our stadium

Smeg
Your not asking for a lot. I know Father Xmas is coming soon, but even he would not be able to sort out a list that long.

priority number 1 - get a balanced squad that all understand and believe in what the manager is trying to do.
