He's not really paid enough up to now to say he's worth it but I've no doubt it'll be money well spent.

The way I look at it is this - not only would we have budgeted for paying the money anyway but the fact is if he had still been under contract and we'd offered £170k for him in the summer there's no way that offer would have been accepted. We'd have had to pay a lot more to get him so it's a good deal.

It'll all be forgotten about when we get a seven figure sum for him in a couple of years anyway.

Ivan Ginger am thinking you may be right in that the public climbdown from Ibrox may suffice for Thompson.
Along the lines of something you said Ivan regards the VAT portion aint a win for Rangers was reading that DU were always gonna be liable for the entire term of the sum regards the boys development. The percentage that covers the years before the current lot were running things is payable to BDO.
So the real winner here might actually be the face painter
