Best Player To Grace Our Turf?

Interested to hear all your opinions on the best player you have seen in the flesh at Filbert Street or Walkers/King Power?

Any sarcastic votes for Junior Lewis will be met by tumbleweed........

You have to add Banks and Shilton.

I'm going to go with Bergkamp as opponent. Incredible player.

The famous 3rd goal in the 3-3 was just brilliant. What made it even better was as he turned away to celebrate you can clearly see me and my family (looking stunned) in the crowd! Must have seen this 100 odd times on TV, even saw myself on a wall-to-celing tv at Nike Town in London!

Agree with you completely about Bergkamp, although you lose points for then getting onto a TV in Nike Town 😉
Ps I am only jealous

Overall, Best gets my vote too, amazing player.

For City, has to be David Gibson

It would be great to hear from:

Filbert Nutt
Gally
Glynnak
Hairy
Fatfox &
Longtime

as they must have seen a whole shoal of talent pass along the Filbert Street pitch and elsewhere over the years.

Come back Malling too!

I had hoped for slightly higher standards from such an aficionado of The Beautiful Game

In all seriousness for me it's probably Robbie Fowler. Bear in mind I wasn't going to games until after MON, so limited in terms of choice as we spent a lot of time in the championship, but I remember seeing Fowler score a hat trick against us at Filbert Street some years back and he was just brilliant.
