I think the group games are a complete nonsense in both the European competitions. Straight home and away two-legged ties make for much more interesting matches. The competition only starts with the knockout stages. I still wish they would stop all the seedings, and country protection though, should just be a straight draw now.

Yup, Anyway I'm glad now a few people see how difficult it is to win the Europa League,. there are some very strong teams in there especially with Champions league drop outs.

Giving it a bonus incentive of a champions league spot means FAK all.

the rest of Europe take it seriously irrespective of Champions league bonus.

You can't suddenly overnight change players attitudes in our squad after years of being told by some fans, managers and press that Europa league is worthless.

If we get knocked out we deserve it. I welcome a really tough tie as long as its in western Europe and doesn't affect travel times too much.

Europa league has given Poch more opportunity to look at the squad and display his excellent tactics for all and sundry.

I think people are already taking the competition more seriously now that the winners get Champions League, however I still feel they should move the games to Tuesday's and Wednesday's. Thursday and Sunday games drive me crazy.
