AW seems reluctant to keep young CBs in his squad.
I know they are not Arsenal starting 11 quality, but Bartley and Miquel could be doing an okay job for us, in situations like the one we're in now!
Even keeping the useless Djourou would have saved us playing players out of position.

much as i dont rate him, a loan deal for Song would have been ideal in hindsight.

Once they reach 22 it is pretty hard to justify keeping a player you have little intention of playing.
Miquel doesn't get a look in at Norwich, and Bartley has waited 3 years for a game at Swansea.

We should be doing more in this department, definitely. Schar sounds like a possibility, can't think of any other names really, maybe someone else can?
