Bamford

Chances are Drogba will retire and the end of the season, If so we will need another striker and who better than one of our own lads? I don't follow the championship in the slightest but I always notice Bamford seems to stick the net at championship level, I think I remember Bamford being interviewed and he talked about how Jose and him have talked a number of times whilst he has been in loan, Would he be a good 3rd choice striker next season or would recalling him just stifle his development? Thoughts?

Bony would be better than Benteke.

And cheaper

Neither bony or benteke would want to come and play a few games

Remy plays well when he plays and is struggling to break past a 36 ye old drogba

It's a difficult one the 3rd choice striker

I signed Kramaric on a free transfer in January for milwall first season on football manager he was great but that's as far as I know of him

I dunno if he would, to be fair. Apparently he's about to sign a new contract. And he's in much better form than Benteke.

Benteke's stock has fallen considerably since his injury.

I like Benteke's overall play, as I think it's the closest I have seen another striker to Drogba (especially the way they play with their backs to goal). We all got sucked into the Lukaku hype. I honestly think Benteke would provide a serious challenge to Costa.

Bony is another player I admired, and wished we got him when we were heavily linked with him before he came to England. He is closer to the way Costa plays, than Drogba.

As good as Remy is, both Costa and Drogba are much better target men than him. They both offer better service to the attacking mids when backs to goal, Drogba offers a far greater aerial threat than Remy. Remy is not the sort of frontman Mourinho would prefer imo, given he has the target man types he likes. I also don't think Remy is as good as a lobe striker as some may like to think he is.

Yeah that's true.

Agree about Remy as well. He always looked better playing on the left for the Toon.
