Well my good run of tournament form came to an end last tournament with a group stage exit. A couple of close losses to Kent and JAG did the damage meaning it was over before it ever begun. Not liking the look of this group at all, 4 dangerous opponents and my tournament history says I don’t really do groups of death and I don’t really do tournaments with the lesser leagues either. Probably another group stage exit, probably.
Verdict: Group-Stages
Sideshow
Team: Falkenbergs FF
Odds to win tournament: 3 – 1
Previous Tournament Performances: Semi-Final, Group-Stages, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, Winner, Semi-Finals, Semi-Finals

A solid enough tournament for Sideshow last time with glowing praise from his adversary Kent. Yes Kent, Sideshow never seems to be able to avoid him and Kent currently has a big winning hoodoo over him, I know how he feels. I think this will be another ‘more of the same’ tournament for Sideshow most likely a semi-final exit to JAG. Not that it is a bad thing; a lot of entrants would love a record like Sideshow’s.
Verdict: Semi-Finals

Kent became the first player in just less than two years to retain the tournament title; I think that time span alone shows just how hard it is to do that, a brilliant feat. Now this tournament is the ultimate test, no big team advantage here, no easy group to breeze through. Every match is going to be a challenge and he’s going to have really pull it out of the bag if he is to become only the second player to win three in a row. I think he will just fall short, just.
Verdict: Runner-up
Marky
Team: Helsingborgs IF
Odds to win tournament: 5 – 1
Previous Tournament Performances: Group-Stages, Semi-Final
Ranked: 22
Much improved would be the words to describe Marky at the last tournament, professionally despatching his opponents in topping his group before falling to JAG in a match where it just all went wrong. I’m not getting many positive vibes from him this tournament but he has been blessed with one of the better teams which is vital in a group where all the players are of a very good standard. I think he will exit In the group stages, but it will be close.
Verdict: Group-Stages
Mon
Team: Orebro SK
Odds to win tournament: 5 - 1
Previous Tournament Performances: Quarter-Finals, Group-Stages

I personally invited Monica to this tournament as good players are hard to come by and we need as many as possible (nothing to do with player shortage, honest!). Just like last tournament he is reunited with Side and Marky who beat him to the two qualifying berths. Just like everybody in the group bar maybe Kent it will be a struggle to grab the second spot, but he can do it in this tough, tough group.
Verdict: Group-Stages
