I have to admit RBW that ist one of my favourite moments too! Along with OGS's goal against BM.
I remember my girlfriend at the time was sitting on my lap and shot across the room as I jumped up in celebration. I don't think she knew what was going on!

those couple of minutes at The Nou Camp are really hard to beat, even for this old timer
Also Oldham beating Villa
hard to believe SAF was playing golf at the time and didn't even know United were champions till later when a united fan told him when he walked off the course
Too funny

Do you remember when robson signed for us on the pitch and the player who's position was under most threat scored a hat trick that day against wolves?

Yes that night at the nou camp was an amazing feeling, especially as I never thought I'd ever see us win the European cup! What a feeling!
For the oldham game I was playing footie with mates but someone had brought a radio so when they won we were dancing around like lunatics we must have looked a right picture!

Ive got a story about that Villa Oldham game too.
*****
It was a Bank Holiday weekend gearing up for the Blackburn game on the Monday and we were in a Big Top Circus, in Oldham of all places on the Sunday afternoon. The ringmaster (in his red top and tails) made a live announcement during the show that Man United were finally Champions (without kicking a ball).
Don't remember much else after that.
No one was sat on my lap, alas.

That's a great story.
Not all stories can end with a female on your lap
