It's amazing how quickly some fans on here change within four months. Crazy.

That's life. What are we supposed to do get out DVDs from 2013/14 season and pretend to be happy?

I thought we actually started to show that fluid play of last season, albeit with a lack of cutting edge.
Utd were there for the taking and we opened them up very easily, they had the class where it mattered though and our defence is still very shaky.
It might rub against the policy grain at FSG but they will have to back Brendan come January. The goalkeeper situation can't be allowed to carry on and there is the eternal finisher problem to sort.
If we can do that I reckon we will come on strong in the second half of the season.
Sacking Brendan at this stage would throw the club into more turmoil.

Agree with everything here. We need three players. Czech, Bony and a defensive midfielder would be perfect but we'd need to see a few players leave first, possibly Lucas, Borini and Suso at least. We have too many players.

No but you could look at last season and see that the manager got us in a good position before and can do it again. He should at least have our backing to make an attempt at it.

Why didn't we buy Bony in the summer?
He was available, for £19m.
He has now signed a new deal at Swansea and that price will have gone up.
I don't understand our transfer strategy at all.

That is proving to be a massive mistake.

Rumours that City want him so they will now low us out the water anyway.
We missed our chance.

Who's changed?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well you're a good example. You said this four months ago:-
All joking aside, I think you need to trust the judgement of a manager that took us to with in 2 points of the title. I think he knows a tad more about football than we do on here!
------------------------------
And I trusted him! I went to every home game during those 4 months (apart from Sunderland) and have paid £144 for 3 champions league games that where the poorest I've ever seen in Europe. I watched us lose the best inform striker in the world and the buys that have come in struggle.
But I continue to go and support the team and manager only wavering once (walked out after the best 2 players were subbed against Chelsea) but returning next game.
It's very easy to support a team whilst watching them on the tv but very different when you're paying thousands of pounds on tickets, travel, hotels and merchandise.
Every fan has the right to an opinion and mine is that the manager is under huge pressure and if results don't improve he'll find his position untenable!

Most of the signings have been a disaster
We aren't Arsenal. We won't give an indefinite period of time to any manager
Your a professional sports club with a global audience. When you have aspirations and you agree to sell players like Luis you surely need to have a clear strategy in place and to have effectively replaced him before you actually let him go
We appeared to have no clear plan in the summer to improve the first team. Fleshing the squad is fine but a huge amount spent and not a single player has improved the first 11. That is simply unforgivable...
A blind man could see that we needed a better defensive shape as a team and some dynamism in the middle of the pitch especially with Stevie getting on in years yet how have we addressed it?
We seem to have just brought players for the sake of it. The transfer policy will ultimately be his downfall
Remember Roy buying Poulsen & Konchesky whilst selling Masch...

So because you're going to every game it entitles you to be fickle?
Pathetic attempt to justify yourself there.
