Even as rivals, you've really got to admire and respect the calibre of men that Aberdeen football club has in its dressing room these days.
Men of honesty and integrity.
Just yesterday, Johnny Hayes stepped up and stated that Paul Paton did not spit on him, despite huge speculation that he did and video footage that suggested that he might have.
Hayes could easily have sat back and said nothing, letting the player have this hanging over him and let him get suspended. It would have course have benefitted Aberdeen to have a first team regular from one of their rival clubs miss out on the next couple of games but those Aberdeen players just have too much integrity for that.
Sadly the SFA, in their infinite wisdom, still decided to offer Paton a 2 game ban for spitting despite what Hayes has said (they offered the ban 45 minutes after Hayes took to twitter to say he wasn't spat on) but I'm sure Paton won't get a suspension due to Hayes' testimony.
Hayes has obviously taken his example from other Aberdeen players who always act honestly and with integrity.
I think we should all take a moment to admire the honesty and integrity of the Aberdeen players these days. We could all learn from them.

I've already said Celtic shouldn't stand by him now and get rid.
I just don't see why Logan took to social media to post a GIRUY message. It makes him seem a bit arrogant and cocky compared to the angel portrait painted

To be fair mate, if you were getting pelters every day for being racially abused wouldn't you want to post a GIRUY message?
It's probably not the brightest thing to do, but I don't particularly blame him.

I probably would but my point is we were told Logan had nothing but dignity and was a fine upstanding member of the community and didn't want this.
Well sticking your tongue out and saying off you pop geezer doesn't suggest the above

To be fair, he was found as a credible witness.
Even a junkie can be found as a credible witness if his testimony is clear and presented in an appropriate fashion that is backed up with corroborating evidence, particularly when it's up against evidence that is the very opposite of that.
Logan might well be a bit of a kant but that doesn't really mean much in this situation.

Any news on the Paton assault charge?
I've heard murmurs it's to be dropped as Zaluska threw the first swing

I've not heard anything mate.
I'm always a bit wary of believing these kinds of rumours but it does seem a bit strange it's going on for this long without anything happening.

So Zaluska flapped & missed. Well colour me buggered...
Also good man Hayes. Nice to see our poor sweet Paton has once again proven to be the victim. Shame on all those who didn't stand by him.
