Arjen Robben!

Top player!

Has been brilliant all throughout his career.
PSV, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern, Holland!

I would love to see him back at Chelsea. I know he would have just turned 31 if we signed him in the summer and there are younger players available but there's something about Robben I just love and we really could do with a level up on the Right Wing!

Chelsea fans love him, he'd probably welcome the idea of a return to the bridge and be reunited with Jose. He's played in the PL and he was brilliant in his time here. Yes he's getting old now but I don't think he will ever not be a quality player, similar to Drogba, the quality will always be there. He's a leader, he works hard and does his defensive duties, he scores and creates big goals, he's just a top top player and if we could sign him for a reasonable price in the summer then we should.

Any one else think this would be a good idea or would you rather the club go for a much younger winger.

I would love somebody like Reus but imo Robben is a much better player.

I would not want him back now and I don't think we need him back now back.

He was a good player for us 10 years ago, nothing more to add really.

If we were to get him back it would have to be this summer and no later, He's getting on rightly and could decline rapidly in a year or two.

I was thinking about Robben just the other day. It struck me that it would've been a nice symbolic course of events if we'd have signed him last summer (course this is after him scoring the winner in the CL final so it wouldn't have happened in a million years).

When you think that Mourinho was the one we let get away, spending years and years trying to replace his 'it' factor. A case can be made we've kind of followed the same pattern with Robben. All these links with the money generating megastars like Aguero, Robinho, Neymar, Modric, etc... and eventually getting the likes of Shevchenko, Torres & Hazard. As we (fans and the club itself) referred to it for many years - obsessed with that 'marquee signing'. And the ironic truth was we had that marquee player in Robben and didn't value his impact highly enough.

I've always been a sucker for that type of symmetry, but having them return in the same summer I think would've been pretty cool

Would take Robben back at Chelsea anytime. One of the best wingers out there.

and who cares about age just look at Lampard

Age clearly doesn't seem to be affecting him. He is stronger and fitter than he's ever been. I think Bayern have secretly fitted him with iron lungs or something.

Or given him steroids

Robben is a genius and is someone actually who Has not fully reached his potential. He could have been as good as Cristiano Ronaldo or Messia but he is still an excellent player!
