Really enjoyed Christmas, and Mrs is a great cook,so all the family are well fed.I have had to run and cycle each day to keep the beef off, tbh. My six yr old daughter makes me happy at Christmas too.
I had a bit of a downer earlier this year, but I have got better, and truly living in the moment, making the most of every day,as best as we can.It is the only way,as Leo said on another thread, yesterday is history, and tomorrow is a mystery.

How was your Christmas,jascot?

Great to hear you had a good one mate and while not having any kids myself my cousins wee wans definetily brighten up this time of year. Regards your outlook on life cant agree more mate and while it seems nothing helps at the time we are wired to deal with it I guess.

Christmas was good , quite ate too much but nay running like yourself, figure just buying my next pair of jeans a size bigger is near enough

I was buying 36 inch jeans, man, and now am 34 again, and they are hangin on me,but nae dosh to buy new gear.Disaster.Mid life crisis makes me keep running and cycling,as I no longer play fitba, withn a bad back, and lack of pace.

We are wired to survive, and sometimes just need someone or something to remind us that life is good.

Glad you had a good Christmas, and you do not need kids to enjoy it,bud,I love my wee girl to bits, but she can also drive me mad.

True enough mate is always the love/hate bit of the Chrismas/New Year fixtures they can either just make it the best one ever or just burst your baloon altoether
