Will we go the whole season without any premiership manager getting the tin tack ?

No chance. I don't care how long Liverpool's directors think they can drag this out - at some point Rodgers is going to run out of lives.
He comes across to me the way most people have described AVB. Insecure, headstrong, careless in what he says and does, etc... his press conferences make my skin crawl sometimes. Typical middle management lackey stuff. I still remember a funny The Guardian did over a year ago listing 10 antidotes asking their readers to guess whether they were the words of Brendan Rodgers or David Brent. The fact that was a genuine struggle just about sums it up.

I agree - and AVB was a terrible manager.

If this is how most saw him then I completely get why people loathed the sight of him. To me the difference between them is AVB's belligerence in his own beliefs and philosophies - almost getting offended that the press think they know better. Rodgers attempts to manufacture this sense of decorum consistently, one of those prickly people you don't everything in life to avoid.
You can see how AVB could motivate specific groups of people. I don't know any kind of person who'd get motivated by Rodgers. The fact he's had any success in management at all is a testament to his ability as a coach

Surprise no one has mentioned Warnock, 1 win in 12 PL games. Guardian are reporting today he is getting sacked if he doesn't win against QPR.

Warnock sacked being reported by the BBC.

You called it Di Maria. Reports on BBC now Warnock has been sacked.
He slipped under the radar, possibly because expectations of Palace are so low.
