Petrov, United paid £4,000,000 to Crewe for him, they are unlikely to give him to us for nothing. We have to be realistic the club have no money to spend.

I listened to Super John's interview with Neil Lennon and Lennon quite clearly stated there would be no money to spend unless he moved players on in January.

I have seen the latest article in The Bolton News, which states he wants to sign four players. He also mentioned that in the interview and as I understand, it would be dependent on moving players on. The only other possibility is if he can get Eddie to sanction the buying of players. If that happens it could instigate sanctions being imposed on the club if we break the FFP rules.

Powell on loan, maybe commons. I don't see a lot happening this jan. I expect more investment in the summer when the high earners lee, mills, bogdan and pratley move on in the summer.

He plays for United and I don't want to develop one of their players.

There is an element of that but players like commons will cost a lot of money now but will be available on bosmans in the summer. I think the loan market is the way to go before lennon rebuilds the squad in the summer.
