OK maybe I didn't explain. Say we are playing Gobbledeegook FC. We are on page 76,123. I can go to the match thread and go to page 1,2,3,4,5,6,7… go to last page (17,123).
Now we are all watching the game, and getting excited/frustrated at the scoreline and remaining time. In fact we suck, so someone makes a joke. Remember the "Jo" thing in the World Cup. Everyone was saying silly things like "who Jo's" and "I asked my mrs for some action last night, but she wasn't "in the mood" so told me Jo way", etc etc.

So there is a lot of activity in the match thread, and I ask the question, remember that time we played gobbledeegook 15 years ago on their ground, I was there. But I can't for the life of me remember who was the manager at the time. Anyone know?

So I am waiting for the answer, phone rings, or neighbour rings the bell and I go answer it. 5 minutes left in the game.
Turns out it was the wrong number, so back at the keyboard we are are now at page 76,127. What the eff, why is everyone saying "Get in!!! ", "yessssss!!! ".

Who scored, what was the answer to my question, how do I get to the previous pages I was on earlier? I click back, I am not given the option to go straight to page 76,123 and it would take me ages to hunt it down with so many new pages being made it takes forever. All the while missing out on yet another goal, because Sopcast decides to quit.

Get my point.

go on your user page and click on your last comment on the thread and it will take you to where you asked said question and work up from there until you find what your looking for
