Cazorla was class.

The front 4 (Alexis, Welbeck, Cazorla + Chamberlain) looked so much better with the added freedom that Flamini and Coq allowed them.

Although we didn't look great in defence, it was refreshing to have two Midfielders happy to sit back, do the dirty work and allow our better attacking players to express themselves. Imagine us if we could replace Coq and Flamini with players that are a level above them.

who Kam?

Szczesny - 8 Came for crosses and dominated his box well for most of the game

Debuchy - 7 Struggled to contain Valencia but showed he is well over his injury now
Mertesacker - 7 Solid performance from the big German
Koscielny - 7 Still working his way back from injury but you can see how much we've missed him.
Monreal - 6 Struggled at times but stuck with it well
Flamini - 6 Anonymous for large parts of the game but that isn't always a bad thing for a DM
Coquelin - 7 The youngster slotted in well, producing some fine tackles and neat touches
Ox - 6 Occasional moments of brilliance mask an otherwise lacklustre display. Needs a rest
Cazorla - 8 Santi has sprung to life in recent games and today was no exception
Alexis - 9 Arsenal's superstar signing once again lived up to his billing - MoTM
Welbeck - 7 Played through the middle and scored. Could easily have had one or two more to settle things with more composure.

Wenger 4 - Bad substitutions nearly cost us 3 points

Despite the fact they only signed him in the Summer and he's played every game for them since. Highly unlikely story

Debuchy had by far his worst performance for us, was pretty woeful. 5.

Coquelin and Flamini were over-run at times, but kept their discipline and made various interceptions and tackles. Both 6 for me.

Alexis was good, probably a 7.
Cazorla was very good. 8.
Bar his goal, Welbeck was Welbeck. Worked hard, but his end product was dreadful. 6.

Koscielny and Szczesny 7, the rest 6.
