Once a success story, but sadly living off past glories and sliding towards relegation to the lower leagues
Most would not shed a tear for Liverpool, but Williams were a decent and noble outfit and deserve better
Thoughts?
Williams are the Liverpool of F1

only flaw with that is the fact that liverpool are englands most successful club and the 3rd most successful team in europe behind ac milan and r madrid. adding a record 5th title only a few years ago ( something noone else in england is good enough to achieve ).
i would say ferrari are simliar to liverpool, they havent acheived anything in a few years but will always be one of the big boys

............
well european cups are more prestigious and liverpool have won more.
18-5 (23) > 19-3 (22)
if you want to add fa cups, lge cups and other european cups then...
18-5-7-7-3 = 40
19-3-11-3-3= 39
man utd are still second, at least for 1 more season anyway

Cup competitions are not a reliable indicator
A countries league is widely held as the best and mist coveted indicator if success in a particular country
Man U are the most successful English club
Liverpool have won zero league toggles in the modern era
Liverpool look like Leeds who almost won a CL semi final before dropping down a couple of leagues
Cups are no indicator
Williams are the Liverpool of F1 but better loved and better supported
