Clarke took over a fantastically drilled set of players, and slowly but surely stamped his own authority which culminated in us dropping like a stone towards relegation.
Once we didn't have lukaku he was clueless, no plan B, and thus why no other side of note has taken him on since

Still have fond memories of his first season, but no doubt was completely fair and justified to get the boot. Something like 30 points from his last 36 games in charge was atrocious

I guess until the replacement is confirmed no-one will know whether it's a good move or not...still atleast the tranny window is approaching for new signings
