Lucky, very lucky.

We wers so fortunate today, wasnt a great performance yet we found ourselves 2-0 up at HT. Pens were not pens in my mind but hey, sometimes luck goes for you; full credit to Leicester they played fantastically and I knew as soon as nugent came on he would score, Everton supporter and all..inevitable.

Shame we couldnt get the 3 points today but who knows that point coukd maks a difference, have to wait and see. Anyway, as I said we were fortunate and Leicester could easiky have scored a 3rd..fair play to em.

De Gea is one of their players. Him playing well is not separate from the team.

All teams are carried by their best players to some degree.

Its just silly anti Man Utd logic to suggest 10 unbeaten and 7 wins is anything other than consistency.

They have scored more than us, conceded less than us, and beat us 3-0.

There manager is getting more out of their squad than ours is out of ours, and barring a fairly unlikely turn of results they will finish above us this season.

sensible response, don't both with Sir Donkey he's the most clueless cretin on your board.

They've been consistently average, however they have consistently picked up wins and that's what matters, certainly at this stage of the season with a new manager and new players, when you'd expect them to get used to the new ways and new players to gel, in the second half of the season. Therefore they're well set up to match the wins with performances.

You are using the results to cover over the actual performances.

It's just silly to suggest that manu's performances this season have been consistent.

They haven't.

And whilst I agree entirely with your remark about De Gea being part of the team, the point is that he can't keep on saving them forever by himself and he's actually started slipping already having failed to keep a clean sheet in 3 of his last 4 games.

I said before that..." of their last 3 games they've only won one and drawn 2, and that is inconsistency."

Having just checked it's actually....' of their last 4 games they've only won one and drawn 3.'

Even worse inconsistency.

6 points out of a possible 12 in their last 4 games isn't top 4 standard.

Performances are irrelevant, to a degree.

Results are what matters, good managers know this, and Van Gaal is a good manager.

You neglect to mention that 3 of those 4 games were away from home.

Draw away, win at home, is always the basic standard to be near the top of the table.

That would get you 76 points, guaranteed top 4.

Take the blinkers off, its just embarrassing.

The only blinkers I see are the ones you are wearing.

And yes they are embarrassing.

"Performances are irrelevant"

Possibly the most ridiculous comment you've ever come out with, and you've had a few humdingers.

Over a whole season the better the performances the more points a team will accrue, 99 times out of 100. To suggest it is irrelevant goes beyond mere silliness.

As for home or away I haven't neglected anything, it just wasn't that important.

6 out of 12 points, home or away, isn't top 4 standard.

As for the Draw away, win at home and get 76 points comment well that's all very well in theory but that's all it is. They won't win every home game and won't draw every away game so it's a pretty pointless thing to come out with.

Just watching the first half. Embarrassing, outplayed by a better team, definitely. As bad as against Burnley? No, nothing can be as bad as that. Mind you, I've yet to see the second half.

Then you're in for a shock as I actually thought we were decent first half. It only gets worse.

TOOR, I will never challenge your judgement. They pressed in the final minutes, but too little, too late. Brendan reckons our team showed character. I didn't see it. We are fast becoming a one man team. And the name of the man is Coutinho. Gawd help us if a big team comes in and buys him.
